#one company with various branches in different towns. my home branch doesn’t take my insurance. had to go to a different town.#had to get a ride there because no one in my family would be able to drive me #(various health and length of drive concerns. irrelevant for this post but that’s why i needed a ride)#glasses have been at the office i had my appointment at for a month. and i haven’t been able to get them #i ask the person who drove me about it. she says they should ship them to our home branch.#wasn’t told about this at all. but sure okay.#2 weeks go by. they haven’t shipped. i ask her about it again #she calls. says they were closed for the holiday weekend (this specifically happened the week after july 4th)#(forgot to mention. this office i had my appointment at is only open on monday. which is why it’s taken so long for everything)#i call my home branch today. ask if my glasses have shipped. the lady says they have but is going to double check for me.#lo and behold. they haven’t shipped. she tells me to call the branch i had my appointment at.#i call. it’s a different branch because the one i went to is only open on monday. as previously stated.#i ask them to ship my glasses to my home branch. the lady on the phone makes a note of it.#says she’ll start the process when she gets into the other office on monday.#and that’s where i’m at. have to wait until at least monday if not later in the week.#it’s been over a month i just want my updated prescription #and glasses that won’t fall off my face #why is this so difficult good lord

i should’ve locked in for my art fight refs so much earlier what do you MEAN i’ve already spent 3 1/2 hours on ONE ref and i’m not even halfway done with it??? what do you mean. and i still have to update my other characters ref sheet AND draw ref sheets for other ocs! AND I HAVE A WEEK AND A HALF LEFT??
