@cloverfag thank you for the lovely suggestion, I actually hadn’t planned to do a beach Betty piece but you convinced me to make a separate one!!

personally felt like my original design for her had been too separate from Benny himself, she felt TOO composed and her features were a bit different

(also added tattoos and scarring because she WAS a boot rider and I feel they’d be pretty rugged)

Pachucos are male members of a counterculture that emerged in El Paso, Texas, in the late 1930s. Pachucos are associated with zoot suit fashion, jump blues, jazz and swing music, a distinct dialect known as caló, and self-empowerment in rejecting assimilation into Anglo- American society.

This took hours but it was worth it. Very proud.
