Exo scenarios: McDonalds drive through employees
When you’re craving some maccas between the hours of 12-3am and exo are the night shift workers.
Would awkwardly touch your hand when you hand him the money to pay for your frozen Coke.
You could tell he’s trying to start a convo but was too shy to articulate a full sentence. Drops your change so you have to open the car door to collect the scattered coins.
“Cheer up kid, everyone’s first day at their first job is rough”
You leave wondering when Maccas started hiring 13 year olds.
“I’ve been a manager for 5 years..” Xiumin says watching you drive away.
Pulling up to the speaker you’re greeted and you ask for a standard 6 pack of nuggets.
“No drink?” The voice asks
“No thank you”, you reply.
“You’ll change your mind once you see me”, he responds.
Confused you shake it off and roll up to the pick up window. The guy standing at the window has your meal in one hand and his shirt lifted to his chin in the other
“Next time you should try this six pack” he says “you can even rub sweet and sour sauce all over me”.
You take your food and as you’re about to swear off McDonalds and drive away he throws you a bottle of water. “To quench your thirst”
You would have to pull up to the window because no one took your order.
“Hello”, you call out hoping to see a Maccas employee. Movement catches your eye and you see Lay grinding on the counter tops performing a one man show to Toxic by Britney Spears.
His performance worthy of the local strip club sefton playhouse. You decide not to interrupt and drive away.
You pull up to the speaker and you try to order but all you can hear are farts. Driving up to the window you’re served by a completely naked Baekhyun who doesn’t even look phased.
You change your mind and you decide to dine in.
Driving up to the speaker all you hear is swearing and yelling with a bunch of static. Confused, you yell back hoping for the best. When you pull up to the window your order of a steamed bun big Mac with extra Mac sauce,10 nuggets, large fries, cheeseburger and one large Coke is all ready with no issue.
You here crying through the intercom. You hesitantly pull up to the window to see a dumbo looking sad giant with tears streaming down his face.
“Hi, how can I help you?” He asks.
“How can I help YOU”, you respond only to regret the next hour of your life.
“Hi! Hello! welcome to this wonderful establishment! May I PLEASE take your order today! Nothing would give me greater joy!” You’re confused by this overjoyed worker and happily place your order. Pulling up to the window you expect to see someone who matches this voice perfectly instead you’re met with the actual representation of the anti christ. Both arms are out of the window and one with your food the other waiting for money. You are genuinely scared for your life as he glares down at you. As you take your goods, D.O doesn’t break eye contact as he presses a button and you hear a pre-recorded message relayed over the speaker.
“Hi! Hello welcome to this wonderful establishment! May I PLEASE take your order today! Nothing would give me greater joy!”
You decide to stick to KFC from now on.
Pulling up to the order box all seems well you’re greeted and ordering your usual Big Mac with large fries and a shake when all of a sudden you hear yelling and the voice cuts off. The order is up on the screen so you continue to drive through. As you pull up you see flames engulfing the register and a man trying to use a small cup of water to throw on the flames that keep getting larger.
As you watch this man refill this small cup of water and continuously repeat this cycle another man walks up with your food. “Oh that?” He looks at your horrified expression at the flames and alarms blaring in the back.
“Should I call the fire department? Does he need a bigger cup?”
“Nah Don’t worry about it, it always happens when Kai’s on, I threw a little something extra in there” he winks and hands you the bag. You drive away thoroughly confused, opening the bag you see it’s filled to the top with just happy meal toys. No food.
