“No, what is it?” She looks concerned and scoots closer. “Is some slayer after you?” She wasn’t sure if she thought this was good news or bad.

He gave a sharp bark of laughter. “Probably. Wouldn’t put it past ‘em.” He looked at Fred, studying her for a moment. “It’s nothing like that. It’s the whole…losing myself…thing.” He gave a dismissive wave of his hand. “Forget I said anything.”

"Oh." He did keep going on these weird... episodes. Violence, amnesia, catatonia... "But you're gonna find out what's wrong, right? You'll find some spell or something to fix it."
