One of my favourite bittersweet tropes in media is characters that were so untwined with the era and environment they were a part of that they were doomed from the very beginning as they could not exist in any other context.

Going off of the similarities between OFMD and Good Omens, who wants to bet that Crowley will also have a mini breakdown in s3 that will result in him causing chaos everywhere he goes (bonus points if he goes through an emo phase and starts wearing eyeliner or grows out his hair)
I love how both Crowley and Ed have had their whole world rocked by some blond in a 18th century fit who just wants to read books, collect antiques, and half-heartedly do good around the world
Currently, I only have one friend IRL who is a huge fan of OFMD, but we live in Japan and the Japanese subtitle version of season 2 hasn’t been released yet so while I get to watch new episodes in English every week my friend has to wait a few months before they can watch the Japanese subtitled version… oh how the tables have turned
The other day, I was telling my friend who has only seen OFMD s1 about Our Good Shadows and how some fan predictions, theories and ships actually came true throughout the shows, and my friend replied “I could see What We Do In the Shadows making a main ship canon, but I’m pretty sure Good Omens wouldn’t do that”
Oh my sweet child

I watched season 2
I love how they start season 2 trying to get you to be real pissed at Ed but by episode 4-5 they give him so much soft uwu energy that we all not only collectively forgave him but also politely request that every character in the show also forgive him and embrace him back to the family
My experience with queer media lately:
I have been so so devastated by the silliest quirkiest little fools recently it’s absolutely not ok 😔😔😔
One of the greatest songs of all time was featured in the last episode of Stranger Things Season 4 and NO ONE EVER brings it up - Spellbound by Siouxsie and the Banshees
Y’all know that would’ve un-vecna’d me in a heartbeat
As a member of gen z who used to be extremely obsessed with the 80’s throughout all of middle school and high school, and at some point listened exclusively to 80’s music, Stranger Things weirdly makes me nostalgic for my youth??? Like half of the songs that come on I’ll be like “ah yes I used to listen to this tune back in the good ol’ days of 2015”

thing is, once louis and lestat are in a semi-happy relationship, they're going to be like gomez and morticia addams. full on "how long has it been since we've waltzed?" "oh, lestat... hours"
I love how the moment the finale dropped, everyone online immediately went: yep Armand is keeping Louis captive in some way and this is a toxic situation - and it’s not from nothing like that is all text on screen, from the mise en scene to the acting and the dialogue.
The once deeply emotionally driven, down to earth, bookworm from New Orleans that Louis was is very clearly missing in the present day, with all the colour stripped from his clothes and his apartment, as well as his speech mannerisms and dialect seemingly erased. And it’s not that he’s simply changed in the past few decades, because mind you, the present day is only 80 years from when we last saw him. In vampire years that’s nothing, and certainly not enough for him to seemingly completely abandon his past self that he clung onto so strongly for decades. There is a reason when talking about Louis, many of us immediately think of early 20th century Louis as opposed to 2022 Louis. And sure, one could argue he’s become jaded and the tragedies in his life have made him absolutely shut down all those happy parts of himself. However, we can see in in his contrast with Daniel, who is overtly a jaded grumpy person, and who often speaks exactly what’s on his mind as a result of that. Louis isn’t like that - he’s visibly shut down any emotions that seem to strong, as noted in episode 2 when he apologizes for his “outburst,” which was just him crying. Perhaps that indicates that even that amount of emotion is something that he’s not used to expressing as of late. When back in the day he would be very vocal about his anger, sadness, or joy, all of those emotions seem visibly lacking in his interview segments, with the few exceptions that are usually interrupted by Armand. The careful manner in which this show crafted these two different, opposing versions of Louis is both a testament to the show running team, and to Jacob Anderson’s insane acting skills.
