One of my favourite bittersweet tropes in media is characters that were so untwined with the era and environment they were a part of that they were doomed from the very beginning as they could not exist in any other context.

Going off of the similarities between OFMD and Good Omens, who wants to bet that Crowley will also have a mini breakdown in s3 that will result in him causing chaos everywhere he goes (bonus points if he goes through an emo phase and starts wearing eyeliner or grows out his hair)

I love how both Crowley and Ed have had their whole world rocked by some blond in a 18th century fit who just wants to read books, collect antiques, and half-heartedly do good around the world

Currently, I only have one friend IRL who is a huge fan of OFMD, but we live in Japan and the Japanese subtitle version of season 2 hasn’t been released yet so while I get to watch new episodes in English every week my friend has to wait a few months before they can watch the Japanese subtitled version… oh how the tables have turned

I watched season 2

I love how they start season 2 trying to get you to be real pissed at Ed but by episode 4-5 they give him so much soft uwu energy that we all not only collectively forgave him but also politely request that every character in the show also forgive him and embrace him back to the family

As a member of gen z who used to be extremely obsessed with the 80’s throughout all of middle school and high school, and at some point listened exclusively to 80’s music, Stranger Things weirdly makes me nostalgic for my youth??? Like half of the songs that come on I’ll be like “ah yes I used to listen to this tune back in the good ol’ days of 2015”
