Thankfully, no one is injured, but Harry Styles' face has gone pale and the glass shards in front of his feet seem to be the reason why.
“I’m so sorry!” Harry squawks, bringing both hands up to cover his face and presumably shield himself from the attention he has attracted.
Louis approaches him with a reassuring smile, even though Harry cannot see him. The need to comfort him comes like second nature to Louis, and though he’s certain he’d have the same reaction to any other student, he might be slowly developing a soft spot for the clumsy, curly one.

My prompt relates to Harry's gender, so this fic is essentially me seeing how much gender dysphoria I can pack into frat boy Harry :P

Knowing Louis would join him shortly, Harry entered the bathroom, turning the shower on to warm up while he surveyed himself in the mirror. His hair was messy and unruly as usual, but much shorter than he was used to. He'd been forced to get a haircut recently— one of the stylists telling him his curls were 'too childish for a nineteen-year-old,' and that he 'needed to switch to a more mature style,' whatever the hell that meant.
He missed his curls. They'd been cute— framing his face like, as Louis would describe it, a 'halo of Styles charm!' It wasn't that he disliked how his hair looked now, though. It looked, objectively speaking, very good on his face now that he wasn't a doe-eyed sixteen year old anymore. But he wasn't used to it, and that was probably what was bothering him so much. He just needed to give it time to settle in his mind's eye of what he looked like.
The shower sufficiently emitting steam, Harry got in, realizing as he did that he forgot to grab clothes before coming in here. He'd have to walk cold back through the room, he supposed. Annoying, but not a big deal. He let the water soak over his body for a minute, breathing in deeply as he mentally prepared for the day. He washed his hair and body, deciding to go for a quick shower today.
He shut the water off, stepping out into the warm bathroom. The steam had fogged up the mirror, so he wiped it away with his hand before taking a glance at himself. He looked no different than he had a few minutes ago, bar his hair now being soppy and his skin glistening with water droplets. For some inexplicable reason, though, he felt bigger. Broader. Like something had crawled under his skin and bulked it up, far beyond his liking.
Harry blinked, shaking his head to reset. Weird morning.

so you can find the list of prompt submissions here & the sign up form for writers here! take a look through the list of prompts that have been submitted to see if you like any of them! the ones that have been crossed out have already been chosen by a writer this round.
i try to make the sign up form as clear and thorough as possible, but sometimes there's still some confusion, and if you run into that, let me know and i'm happy to go over it with you!! you can either choose a prompt from the submissions list or you can come up with your own prompt to write.
for example, if you're choosing a prompt from the submissions list, when you're asked to enter the prompt you've chosen on the sign up form, you'll put the number it is on the list and the prompt from the list (so like you'll write '12. Harry thinks he and Louis are in a relationship. Louis think they've been having a really long friends with benefits relationship.). if you're opting to write your own prompt, you'll just write 'my own prompt: [write your prompt here]'. some people just write the prompt and don't specify that it's not one from the list, and that's okay too!

hi! here's a post i made that provided a bunch of fics that i feel are good examples of the concept!
essentially, the concept is smut used as a plot device to help one or more characters grow as a person/as people. whether that means discovering their sexuality, becoming more confident, learning how to let go of control, learning to love or appreciate a part of themselves they've been struggling to, etc! you're encouraged to get as creative w it as you'd like :)

Harry has always had trouble lasting in bed. His previous partners had laughed at him for coming in his pants like a teenager, so it's understandable that he feels a lot of pressure when it comes to his new relationship with Louis.
Louis doesn't mind that Harry comes almost every time they snog, it's kind of flattering to him. He does want to understand why Harry is refusing to mention it. After a fight and a love confession they decide to explore with different things in bed. Together they learn to understand themselves and each other deeper.
