Hello Yellow!
Just a random person with a phone and easy access to a bunch of wildflowers ~
Wanna submit own photo? Go ahead, you're more than welcome to, just make sure you keep in mind these guidelines:
Gotta be some bugs, gotta be some flowers ~ 🌺🪲
We're looking for pollinators here, so sadly no spiders / dragonflies / other predators.
On that note, if you manage to get a photo of like a hummingbird or a pollinating bat, first of all, WOW, second of all, feel free to join in!
On my end, I'll be @/ing your blog in the description by default, but you can ask to be anonymous, and if you want to take down a photo you've sent in at any time, all you have to do is ask.
Wanna try and identify an insect? I don't know bug identification at ALL so your guess is as good as mine. Here's the guidelines if you wanna take a stab at telling what the heck is going on in my blurry amateur photos:
Since no one's really getting a good look at the bugs in question, message me and I'll note "guesses" in the description, but in the end nothing will ever be "confirmed."
Well unless you're submitting your own photo and know exactly what you're posting...
If someone's already tried to identified a bug, but you think it might be a different critter, please try to be polite about it. I'll note any alternative guesses in the description also.
I'll credit any guesses in the description, like with the photo submission you can choose to be anonymous, or remove your guess altogether, whenever you wish.
