It’s not that I don’t want to or anything but being put on the jumbotron when that fic got posted at the start of the whole ‘lawless byler’ stuff it really spooked me 😭 I was having a really weird stressful time that day and then THAT happened so it’s unfortunately a bit of a source of anxiety as of right now on top of the fact I didn’t like that fic very much when I shared it in the first place. I get like. fic writer imposter syndrome so the positive reception just kinda went over my head hahah

Definitely not would get married romantic territory. But I like the idea that they’d take the opportunity to go on dates when they get out and are far from home… taking advantage of being unknown. Mike would get a kick out of being able to have a hand on her thigh and play boyfriend-girlfriend on nights out.

It’s not casual hooking up either though… there’s a lot of repressed feelings there and they’re both not great communicators but Nance wants to be someone Mike can ‘come home’ to if that makes sense? Their home in Hawkins isn’t exactly a place of comfort anymore, so Nance wants him to feel like her space is his too if he needs comfort or stability.

I personally think Mike is definitely the one with more of a jealous streak out of the two of them. He’s been… not so approving of her previous boyfriends and I think he’s more likely to get moody over other guys taking interest in her. Very quick to shut down advances on her behalf and being very outwardly rude to any guys she might want to bring home.

Ouuhh thank you for this anon… definitely good to know. I always like knowing there’s people who want more of this content it helps motivate me to write it more :,) I do still plan on finishing that second chapter & had a piece I intended to share for kinktober but. Hah. Well. 🫣 Maybe next time.
