He’s just going to smile innocently, pleased he’s not the only one to think of Cain that way.

“Saizou, Yuki that’s enough let him in…” Ayato called out, wiping off his hands.  “Souji welcome ho— I’m guessing this is your… other father??”  He straightened up, holding out a hand.  “Ishikawa Ayato, it’s a pleasure to meet you….”

“Cain Wintersong. And yes, I am one of Souji’s adoptive fathers.” He took the hand, giving a firm shake in return as a thin smile crossed his face. “I heard you and my son are married, correct?”

He looked over at Cain and giggled.  “He’s making coffee… come on, the building isn’t too far…”  He said pointing to one of the taller high-rises.  “I think you’d like him, he runs a textile company and he’s really responsible!!”

“Oho? Textiles? One of the most profitable industries in the world...” How intriguing... Hopefully his darling son was being treated well, spoiled like he deserved! Cain kept the thoughts to himself as he followed along, eager to meet this husband of Souji’s, see what he was really like. 

As much as he's missed his darling reaper~?

“I should!!”  He giggled before, before clasped the other’s shoulders.  “Now I’m gonna tell you like I told Papa Unny to be nice!! He’s a respectable gentleman and he’s really kind and I’m really attached to him, okay???”  Yes, that’s how you describe your soulmate.  really attached.

That grip to his shoulders makes Cain’s expression become more determined. So his husband had already gotten the talk about this man? If he passed one judgement, then Cain already was feeling more comfortable. He grinned down at his son, pressing a hand over his heart to show sincerity. “I promise to be on my best behavior around him. I wouldn’t want to make you upset if you like this man so much.”

“Nope!!” he giggled.  “Kidding, well for the most part.  I’ve been not as problematic if that’s what you mean…”  He nodded.  “I have to… I’m all respectable now… can't make trouble for the husband~”

Cain isn’t sure why he asked; Souji always was a bit of a troublemaker! But oh~? What’s this? “Husband? It seems I have missed a lot... You should introduce us sometime.” He needs to know all the details he’s not caught up on!
