au where venator wishes for the patrons to be killable, and warden wishes for the patrons to leave the material plane, resulting in two human heralds now stuck in the Cursed Apple. now fragments of their original patron but with a fraction of the power, they have to deal with the consequences of the maelstrom and figure out who they are now that they are no longer connected to the patrons that they once represented.

the participants of the ritual still demand wishes from the heralds despite their powerlessness, and put a lot of effort into trying to grant the wishes of the ritualists that they owe. all the while, the archmother's herald is trying to reconnect with the rest of her form in the outer plane and the hidden king's herald sows chaos within the city.
