I remember that morning after, out on the lake, just the two of us sitting in the boat, not saying a word.

Ten years later and the cabin is our home away from home. We can leave everything behind and just enjoy ourselves. One weekend a month.

Nothing better than relaxing on the dock at night, side by side. We're the same, you and me.

Life slows down. We have our routines. It’s hot and humid and the AC keeps flaking out.

Nobody knows what we get up to, out on the lake under the hot sun. All they know is that Dad's gone fishing with his best bud. And that's all they need to know.
