Many A Hungry Wish

Officially finished and posted the mail-order Omega AU to AO3. It's garbage quality, but hopefully fun for people who are digging a silly a/b/o vibe.

I wish I worked in a brutalist building that smelled kind of like a hospital mixed with pencil shavings and had a cafeteria in it in a creepy basement area and I had to wear heels and dress cute but austere and my heels would clack on the cold linoleum floor all day long and I had to make a lot of scans and copies and look things up in file rooms. It would be fun and easy for me to find folders like using the Dewey system at the library but everyone would think it was hard and impressive and say stuff like “she’s the whole brains behind the operation” or “she’s holding the place together”. It would have those big old time double pot coffee makers going all day and I’d be great at refilling them because I also drank it by the gallon and it never gave me palpitations or anxiety it just made me alert. And after a nice day of being the important file lady who had a lot of fun organizing things I would get in my old car parked in the lot with massive forest blanketing all sides and drive home through the winding autumn forest road and it would be a little spooky but mostly cozy. When I get home I have a big bowl of soup and a slice of homemade apple pie and cuddle my cat who is indoor outdoor for enrichment and it doesn’t negatively affect the local ecology.
