“If my little shakes are lighting up your world that much, I’d certainly hope you’ve had better days.” While his only customer is drinking, he starts washing down the counters again.  “Dare I ask?”

Steve chuckles, amused by her joke.  “Uncle Warm?  That’s Captain Warm to you, little miss.”  He pulls her into his lap and wraps the blanket around both of them.  “The Great Captain Warm, greater even then Dad, if you please.”  Bucky will probably punch him for that later, but it’s so worth it.

He hadn’t seen them since the last time they hit the beach together.  “Have you used them in the inside pool since the beach?  They’re probably in the shower down there, in that case.  If you haven’t used them since the beach, I’d check the laundry room.” 

“Yes, darling?”  Steve asked, carefully setting aside his carving knives.  He’d been preparing their evening meal when Areum had burst in.  “Is something the matter, little Becca?”
