I should have started off with I didn’t know Arian had a sister - twin to be more precise. [she laughs lightly as her eyes drift down to the dog and she smiles softly] Yeah, that’s basically my main problem. I think I just shouldn’t even try and list things I need. Just go to the shop and wing it like a champion. But my entertainment is pissing off the obnoxious idiots.[chuckles] Beautiful dog you have there. Would you like some company to the shops if you can’t get a hold of Arian?

Identical, actually. And not many do, despite us being so close. [chuckles and rubs Sasha's ear at the mention of her] Her name's Sasha - you can pet her if you'd like. I'm not one for leashes, so I hope that doesn't bother you. But Sash loves making new friends.

Grocery shopping is the worst. Especially when you realize you forgot to get something you really needed and then have to go back and not to mention some of the snobbish and inconsiderate people. There’s always at least one whenever I go and it’s annoying.

[chuckles softly at her, knowing within a couple minutes, the woman will realize she's blind; a hand petting the giant bear of a marshmallow dog xD] I've never actually had a problem with forgetting what I put on my list. I've always had Arian there, as well, though.

"Because it can make you sick." River says as she walks over to the girl on the couch then takes a drink from her coffee. She chooses to sit in an arm chair just off to the side. "No thank you," 

"Only in large quantities?" She chuckled, smiling towards the other woman. "Miss Hayes, correct?"

[stops as soon as the coffee spills all over her pants. She holds her temper and turns] I’m sorry. I’ll pay for your coffee. 

[smiles softly, less annoyed with her] I didn't get any on you, did I?

[pushes through coffee shop door]

[falls over because Addison is tiny and Liz is not and it's not like she saw her coming, her coffee spilling over Evan's pant legs/shoes, and then Sasha starts growling; she puts a hand on the giant dog] Sasha; no. Be a good girl. I'm okay, see? [smiles and kisses her dog who is much taller than her when she's sitting, then stands up, facing the body who knocked her over] Common courtesy usually means watching where you're going. Regular check ups to the eye doctor are normally helpful, as well. [says with a soft smile, half irritated, half teasing]

[she chuckles lightly] And so you’ve said before, Darling. [takes hold of her hand and shakes it] But it’s nice to meet you, too. Ah, music students are the best. [she smiles] I’ve graduated already. But I am a musician myself, singer mostly, but I also play the guitar, keytar and keyboard.

[chuckles] I have, haven't I? [starts petting Sasha who moved closer to her for attention] Keytar? There's an instrument I've never learned before. Impressive. They sound hybrid in a musical way. I sing, play instruments, and compose.

[looks at her phone for a moment before she smiles and then looks to the dog] Yeah, don’t really have anything else to do with my time at the moment, so sure. [walks the little distance to her and sits down] Oh, and I’m Parker.

[smiles, sitting up and crossing her legs carefully because dress, but it's long enough so yeah] I'm Addison. [holds out her hand] It's nice to meet you. I'm a new music student here. Yourself?

I can see better than most people. [smiles at her and turns towards the office window] Your window is open, and it probably overlooks a quad or popular lunch gathering, fountain - somewhere students like to sit outside and relax; and not a road or parking lot. I can't hear cars running, tires rolling, or car doors closing. And I can hear the busy bees of people chattering.

I’m sorry if that was insensitive to ask. That must have been hard to adjust to though. 

It wasn't - I'm blind, and there's no getting around that. No getting around how I lost my sight, either. I only get upset when I'm treated like I can't see - because I can.

It’s fine. [Chuckles a little at her words] Maybe just a little. May I ask, were you born blind or…?

Hence me not complimenting you and going for the more awkward approach, instead. [chuckles softly, then smiles at her question] I lost my sight when I was eleven. Brain surgery that permanently damaged my optic nerves.

It’s fine. [Stands a little awkwardly as Addison traces her face]

[takes a few respective steps back from the professor when she's done] Thank-you.

She can surprise you.

I enjoy being surprised.

I’m not surprised. She can be a hard ass at times but she really does want her students to do well. 

Really? She seemed more..out there than one to crack down hard.

A musician, lovely. [Smiles] Leah is one of the very best. You are definitely lucky to have her as your teacher.

I've always had a love for music, and after I lost my sight, I only got better at it. [smiles softly] That's what I heard about her. It was exceedingly difficult to get into her class - I've been waiting all year for an open spot.

I’m an English professor. Though I am teaching Classic Literature at the moment. And what may I ask are you studying?

That's all out of my league. Arian's territory. I'm a music student here. Vocals, instrumental, theory, composition. Actually, Miss Avery is why I transferred here to be in her composition class.
