got told other people would like having a look-see at this, so!
The Don Bluth Studios Animation ArchiveĀ was donated to Savannah College of Art and Design in 2005. The collection includes all aspects of the animation production pipeline, including concept art, color models, animation cels, animation drawings, story sketches, and other materials created by Don Bluth Productions and later iterations of this company. Also included in the collection are administrative files, legal documents, musical scores, scripts, and publicity-related materials.
The archive is HUGE. While the library itself isn't open to the public, what's been digitized is available for anyone to look through. If you're interested in the work of Don Bluth's studio or just animation history in general, I 100% recommend taking some time to look around.
