Maybe Im too woke. But both refusing to adapt your explanation, and especially getting verbally agresive towards a neurodivergent student for not understanding what you mean, should be a reportable instance of ableism. I should be both beleaved that I genuenly dont fucking understand what your highly circumstancial use of what constitutes as a correct “concept” and “context” and that you failing to provide exact definitions, and definitions that are actually understood by the neurodivergent student, should be a valid reason to have your teaching skills be put into question. As an autistic and ADHD student, the only acomodation Ive ever asked for is for profesors to provide rigid definitions of concepts that we are graded on, that clearly exist within the profesors head, because if I didnt I wouldnt keep getting it wrong no matter how hard I try, and I cant even recive that. And even when I get damn near verbally abused to nearly the point of tears by a profesor who only literally repeats the exact same phrase read aloud when begged for a more precise explanation, he asked for the “context” of my research and every explanation I gave kept being wrong and when I asked what exactly constituted as a “context” within this research and why the explanations I gave were insuficient he would just keep reading my own research question back to me with increasing agression and got visibly angry at me saying he was confusing me, as if thats both a personal attack and somthing Im not allowed to say, his exact quote “Im not confusing you, Im explaining to you”
