“Right.” Giselle nodded, remembering not seeing Nora’s face last class. She gathered two stacks of papers and slipped them into her canvas bag before leading her student out into the hallway. She made sure she had everything she needed before locking the classroom door. “Alright. Let’s go. I’ll give you extra time to research what you want your essay to be about since you weren’t here last class.”

“Thank you.” SHe smiled, as long as she was able to write on something she cared about she didn’t mind. “What exactly are we doing?”

“Oh I’m sorry. I thought I told everyone last class that we’re meeting in the library today.” The blonde said as she checked her watch for the time. “We can walk over there together if you’d like? I just need to gather some papers before I leave.”

“I left school early last class, had a doctors appointment...but the library isn’t that bad.” She said nodding. “I rather walk with you then get in trouble with the hall monitors.”

“Not a big fan of chicken, and I don’t get Netflix often, so since foster mom is out of town, no healthy food or ballet practice for me.”
