Orlando was definitely one to remember!! So proud of all of my amazing friends that danced, no matter what the outcome might’ve been. So beyond happy for my girl @planxtydavis-106 for placing 8th - you’re absolutely incredible!!! And so happy to say that I got 10th and was 6th in North America! Crazy to think that two years ago I didn’t even recall at nationals. I guess hard work does pay off ☺️

Also, I can’t thank Rising Star enough for my new dress - it is absolutely amazing and I love it so so so much!!!

Hi!! I have heard such amazing things about you and omg congrats for recalling!! I saw you dance and was wondering on your tips for sharpness. Your power when you dance is just so fun to watch! Any tips?

Thank you so much!! :) I first noticed improvement in sharpness when I realized that it was the first thing I lost when I got tired, so I always paid attention to it. From there I worked on isolating each movement and not jumbling it together. If you practice to slower music and take pauses in between each section of your dance, your sharpness will improve! Also strengthening your hamstrings will make your back lift better and will give you more energy throughout your dance. I think back lift is a key to sharp ground work, and tight legs is critical for sharpness while moving.
