OK I need to rant about this somewhere so tumblr it is. I just hopped on threads bc a byler post popped up on my instagram and I was curious about what people were saying about it there and its just a lot of older people, some older queer people, saying they dont want byler to be canon and dont see it happening? And also saying if it were to happen, it wouldn't be realistic to how it actually was to be queer in the 80s. Which I guess makes sense but I just cant help feeling that never giving will a love interest will be a disservice to his character. Like every other character has had a romantic relationship that has been important for their character arc, but will doesn't get one? Especially when he clearly wants it? And if they were to give him an epilogue boyfriend it would be unfair that we've seen every other straight couple have a relationship that was developed over SEASONS but like rovickie their relationship pops up off screen.... right.... anyways what do yall think lol
