If Victor had stayed alive and not fallen into the well, then Sherlock would probably have been more sociable (but still, he would have been less socialized, because he still grew up in a family of insensitive and was just as boring) and he would have had more friendly connections, rather than those that he got through manipulation. He would definitely date Trevor at least every week as an adult (they wouldn't live together because they both come from rich families and they don't really need to split the bill. Sherlock in the series does not take money because he does not know its importance or takes it from those who can give it). But I will say that Victor would not approve of Holmes's occupation, worrying about the life of a detective, and therefore Sherlock would be doomed to look for a partner anyway🦭
