timeskip carly sketches (how i imagine her) & scoopshipping headcanons pt. 2

these are mostly carly-centered

• carly had to leave her job, being associated with jack made her a high-profile person. it wouldn’t be safe for her to continue as (literally) a boots-on-the-ground journalist. she works as an editor, and does scheduled interviews highlighting younger, up-and-coming duelists

• stripes became trendy because the paparazzi photos of carly were mostly of her wearing stripes

• when they have their first kid, carly’s striped shirt was either shades of pinks or shades of light blues, depending on their baby’s gender

• jack proposed with the biggest, most expensive ruby he could find, carly freaked out at the price. ruby engagement rings became a trend as well (i love jewelry so i had to add this on)

• they eventually purchase a penthouse together, but keep their first apartment they rented together because they wanted to hold on to the memories they made

• misty and carly go on occasional coffee dates to catch up

• over the years, carly mostly grew out of that awkward personality and is more mellow in the public eye, but she is still awkward and gets flustered when jack initiates

• jack loves when people ask about carly

• jack tried all of carly’s pregnancy cravings…voluntarily

this was inspired by kotteri and vintage fashion sketches, hence the elongated silhouettes (but carly is tall anyways). carly is just so fun to style 😭😭

every girl in the last episode had a different hairstyle, so the “v” bangs are now swoop bangs ✨
