So our week was up..our fostering journey was over today. And I couldn't help but feel emosh at the goodbye. You needed me and I think I needed you without even realizing. It was a little heartbreaking you forgot me as soon as your mum came to pick you up, but I hope and wish your owner and you well. I honestly have learnt so much from having a canine around it is seriously like training for motherhood, constant responsibility. But seeing the tail waggle paid off it was a temporary but unforgettable experience and I am so passionate about how such a fleeting encounter could have effected me the way it did. It has definitely taught me I could be a foster mum, to more pets, if not children one day! And that it confirms I will adopt one day too!
