The first of the season! This one wasn't a Botlan since he was spotted in Murder Mystery. It was so fun dancing with them, such chill Tactical Nolan 🥹

I think it really shows this was the season they planned to compete with GTA VI, the way they try to keep you glued to the screen is quite aggressive. What's that thing of having to level up the extracted sprites tk level 5 to use them in the backbling pod? Asides of the hassle of getting them, we have to equip them and risk them? That's ridiculous.

The only sprite I care about is the water one. I want to master them but it will take some time to do that. That's good news for me, that limits the job to, idk, 2 or 3 sprites (I have the base, golden, gummy and galaxy ones)

An irl friend gifted me this cute second-hand polar bear plushie that's actually shaped like a bear and not like a ball and I'm loving it 😢💕 Along with the backbling @/losthopeonthisworld gifted me some days ago, the polar bear collection grows (?) (thanks BTW I forgot to post about it lol)

The backbling looks super cute, I wish I had a screenshot but you can see the nose and the ice cream through the sprites on your back and it looks like it's eating ice cream jdjdj the DiamondChance kid's backpack

This is about the Sprite Design contest. I've seen people complaining, asking fortnite if they'll use AI to create their sprite if they win. The thing is, once you win, you no longer own the sprite, you get your 2.5k dollars and keep living your life. You grant Epic full control and ownership by just ENTERING the contest. With that said, you clearly don't have any control during the production process, AKA, if the Fortnite team wants to use AI to make the texture of the sprite, they can do it.

I don't think you can change the rules about that, you probably will be ignored by the team if you keep asking about that. If you don't feel comfortable with the remote possibility of being the winner, and having AI used in the production of the sprite you SOLD them, I don't understand why you'd even participate.

Of course, that's very different from people using AI to "create" concepts for the sprites. I don't support the use of AI for this purpose, I think some sprite poorly colored by hand has more value than a convincing-looking sprite made with a random promt given to ChatGPT.

The rules establish the creation has to be ORIGINAL and have no problen when it comes to IPs or rights of use, and AI generated content can't be copyrighted. That might lead to desqualification. And honestly... that kind of defeats the purpose of asking the community to create something. It would've been cheaper for them (and less hassle) to ask some LLM to give them a fortnite themed sprite and call it a day.
