this blog will be centered around my ocs, specifically miitopia for the fic i am writing, but i might expand into other oc groups in the future.

β i like to write for fun, not professionally. it's a hobby of mine. i tend to lean towards fantasy themes with the occasional mature element, but i can't promise i'm any good at making it feel real!
β fic and art updates are not at all scheduled - i've put out 3 chapters in a week once, and then another time i didn't write for 2 months!
β i like to chat and discuss and see other people's ocs, but i have generalised anxiety and am autistic. if i come across as strange, i apologise!

chapter 24 is up after nearly a month away! i'm not sure how i feel about some of it because of the big break between segments and my injury, but i'm also excited with the concept of it. and the title is a fun little joke. read if you wanna! :3

admittedly, it's really hard getting back into writing after doing none of it for around two weeks, but i think i'm getting it sorted out. my jaw is fixed now but my ear still feels a bit funky from the infection. I CAN HEAR AGAIN, THOUGH!!! i'm just glad i'm not going in and out of the hospital anymore, it's so socially exhausting lol...

okay so a little medical update if you're interested i suppose??
went to a&e today. 7 hour visit i was drained. i got some new pain meds and i got my jaw examined - not dislocated like my mum thought, thank god. (it's tmj!)
turns out i DO have an ear infection, because it was all swollen and stuck with discharge. yay.
i have a weird cotton thing right in my fucking ear now to stretch it back open which i am getting removed on friday. it hurts like hell. i also got a booklet on jaw exercises which i am practicing.
all of this is to say that the small break might be a bit longer than i anticipated, but we'll see how things go. honestly this is more about me getting it out of my system because it's been a frustrating week for me.

so in the meantime, this is what kinds of games i think my ocs would play if they weren't... involved in this bullshit. all for funsies :)
ramona: hates anything too fast-paced and that requires good reaction times. she would enjoy puzzle games, so like layton or whatever. i think she could get down with ace attorney or something similar. maybe this is projection but i think she'd LOVE killer frequency (one of my fav games). it's not really time sensitive and it's about solving puzzles to save people over the radio. amazing game. she wants super paper mario on the switch.
jasper: i know he's an only child but he's giving 'siblings playing new super mario bros'. he would love any kind of rpg. big fantasy and cool swords kind of guy. he's messaging the group chat 'hop on among us' every day. he probably likes fighting games too, but only the really over the top, cartoony ones.
castiel: ok this one's difficult. so there's a 56 year old woman here. i'm fighting the urge to say candy crush. i guess he's similar to ramona in that he'd like puzzle games. solitaire online (projecting because i used to watch my dad play that all of the time). his version of games is just like. something from a newspaper. to be fair i love crossword puzzles too they're so fun. castiel cooking mama?
molly: animal crossing. she works really hard to make her island super pretty, but she isn't villager picky - she loves all of them. also loves the sims, but she never actually plays the game she just spends all of her time making her friends in it. when she does actually play she updates the actual people on what their sim is doing. i can see her having lots of niche ds games. is this TOO niche or did anyone else have the squinkies game for ds?? i have always been a ds girl
alistair: jeremiah forces him to play co-op games but he's so easily ragebaited that it goes poorly every time. i can't really see alistair playing many games?? i think he would give elden ring a shot. i think he could do it :)
jeremiah: dating sims. even the really bad ones or the parody ones. he loves them. he played ddlc when it first came out and it shaved a few years off of his life. probably does those online ragebait quizzes or co-op games with poppy and alistair. has the most fun playing phasmophobia with proximity chat. also those shitty free horror games.
poppy: rhythm games. are we surprised? she doesn't play about rhythm heaven. she does not play about geometry dash. her guilty pleasure is those dress up sort of games. she isn't good with jumpscares because of her sensitive hearing, but you can get her into any game as long as the soundtrack bangs. when she plays games with jeremiah they voice act it together. it's fun.

just a heads up that neksdor arc might be a few chapters shorter i hope that's okay?? like not... less story?? i guess?? kinda?? just like less words/chapters. i might even make up for it with the realm of the fey arc.
