The last clip in our #7on7 series, celebrating Noiseheads' 7th year, is from the track "Carpet Kite" This song was the first single released from our self-titled EP in 2015. The music video was all one take - we went on to release a 360° video comprised of footage from the 3 different takes we did that day, while the lyrics appear on screen all around you. We hope you've enjoyed this retrospective on our past releases - whether you're relatively new to the band or have been around for awhile, maybe you learned something new about us. Clip 6 of 7 / #7on7: This is the alternate cut for "Nowhere Somewhere" - originally released in January of 2013. The original video was in 4:3 and consisted of several references to pop culture. Majority of the video was shot and edited, then filmed again being played on a full-screen projector TV to further reiterate the theme. Out of all of our videos, it's one of my favorites. The alt. cut was released in February of this year to celebrate the limited release of our debut album on cassette. To me, this song was the first tune we had written that truly sounded like Noiseheads, something that pulls from those who've influenced us but is also unique to the group. You can hear @thebeatles , you can hear @pearljam, @foofighters, @weezer, etc. but most importantly, you hear us. #noiseheads #alternative #alternativerock #acoustic

Clip 4 of 7 / #7on7 - From our televised unplugged performance on @wsretv's #studioamped series, this was "Pretty Hate Song pt. 2" from our debut album. This song has served as the closer to many of our sets, and the original track has an excerpt from a @ladygaga interview. The reason for being named "part 2" is because the song was initially written back in 2009 with completely different music. When it came time to record our debut, new music was written while the same melody/lyrics were kept. #noiseheads #alternative #alternativerock #selfreleased #unplugged #acoustic #a

ICYMI: We're highlighting 1 of 7 different clips each day to celebrate our 7th year of being a band. Here's clip 4 of 7 on #7of7: This is from the music video for "Ballad of Me, Myself, and I" off of our latest album #SitcomsForAliens The song started from a riff our drummer was messing with one day in rehearsal back in 2015, the final version ended up being that riffed reversed, and it was completely written in about 20 minutes. The video is a fun interpretation of the lyrics, featuring some pseudo-animation with actual footage, all done in one take. One of the first times we played it live was on a show with the @pfursofficial. Fun times! #noiseheads #newmusic #alternative #alternativerock #a #selfreleased #selfmade

Clip 3 of 7 in our ongoing #7on7 series comes from the music video for "Unknown," off of our debut album. The album was released in 2013 and the video released in late 2014, which was the last music video produced for that album. Directed by @elizabethgrayphotography, this was part of a bigger series of photographs visualizing other animals (specifically horses) doing human-like actions. The song was actually written in 2010, the year Noiseheads was born. This video was a fan favorite from the start and stands as the video most people associate with the band. #noiseheads #alternativerock #alternative #selfreleased #selfmade

Today in #7on7 - clip 2 of 7 features the track "Millennium Loser" off of our 2015 self-titled EP. This was the last song written on the record, being finished about two months before release. The video was directed by @jadallahholla & us. I have to admit that I was listening to a lot of @weezer when I wrote this :) #noiseheads #selfmade #selfreleased #alternativerock #a

To celebrate 7 years of being a band, we're going to highlight 7 clips from our career that showcase the diversity of our group, as well as give a little history behind each one. This first clip is from the song "Fellow Man," which we released on our 2015 self-titled EP. The track was written in early 2014 and features a 7/4 time signature - a favorite of ours to play live.
