Thank you so much!!! It was on Spotify for a while, but I stopped paying for Distrokid for now to see how that goes, since I'm not exactly thrilled about streaming services as an artist. Maybe I'll put my stuff back up there at some point in the future, but for now, yeah, Bandcamp or SoundCloud (or YouTube) is where to find my music!

I had a dream last night that's been haunting me all day. I was walking past a park on a hill and noticed Snufkin, from Moomin, hanging out on a park bench, overlooking the sidewalk. I didn't say anything to him, and I was almost clear of the park when he called out to me. "Hey, what if you didn't go where you were going?" I stopped walking and looked back. He was still sitting, looking in my direction. "What do you mean?"

"Well, come over here and I'll tell you what I mean."

So I did. I walked up to where Snufkin was sitting. This park was small, just an open field on a hill and some trees behind it. It was a little windy, and a little chilly, but not too much of either. I didn't say anything, waiting for Snufkin to continue.

"What if you didn't go anywhere you were going?" He continued, staring off into the distance. "What if you just stayed here? In this exact spot, forever." After a moment, he looked at me, with reverent seriousness. "You should consider it."

I was entranced by the concept, in that moment. I couldn't say anything in response but a thoughtful "hm."

There was silence, and then Snufkin spoke again. "You know," he said offhandedly, "Instead of dying, George Washington turned into petrified wood. One solid block of it."

All I could do was nod. Another "hm." I didn't even think to move. We stood there, and the dream faded.

I'm not sure how to feel about this.
