@vanguardmovement 👑 Once Vanguard, always Vanguard. Thank you for everything you've given this family. ❤️
@mia.moves STOPPP 😭 you're not allowed to leave us.
@dancewithava I grew up watching you dance. This one hurts. 🥹
@sophia.grooves I refuse to believe this is your last performance.
you had posted a quick snippet of yourself on tiktok dancing to a remixed version of g-idle's song and it caught the attention of cube entertainment. they had reached out to vanguard movement asking to see a more longer version of the choreography.
vanguard movement had created a few choreographies for idols last year. it was their first venture into the kpop scene, but they didn't have a heavy influence as royal family members. you helped create a few moves, but this time a company was asking for you specifically.
after cube saw the full demo of the remix, they called emailed you g-idle's next comeback song. it was a b side track, but none the less they wanted a demo to see and compare with other choreographers.
you had no idea that one tiktok video was about to change the course of your entire career.
the youtube video starts with you sitting on the floor of your apartment bedroom. you adjust the camera a little so it can get the clothes in front of you as well as your face.
"hello!" you wave at the camera as you smile ear from ear.
"i am so excited." a squeal leaves your mouth as you clasp your hands in front of you.
"no i am beyond excited to officially announce that i will be going to south korea."
"fun fact i wanted to leave a week earlier to jus explore, but i lost my passport. good news though i found it in my suitcase. i was so close to having to order a new one."
you reached for a hoodie and began folding it.
"this will be my first time creating a piece all on my own. so i was asked by a company in south korea to choreograph for one of their groups." you set the hoodies aside and fold another hoodie.
"which is honestly still crazy to say out loud." you move on to folding a stack of t-shirts.
"before anyone asks, no, i'm not moving to south korea permanently."
you laugh.
"i'm only supposed to be there for a week... but who knows, right?"
"i'm not going alone though. mia is going with me." mia is a year older than you, but started to vanguard movement together.
"okay... enough talking. if i keep yapping, i'm going to miss my flight."
you clap your hands together.
"let's finish packing."
the next scene shows you at the airport with mia who is now taking pictures of herself on her phone.
"this is going to be so fun." you capture mia in the background saying.
"you've taken, like, fifty pictures already." you laugh as mia comes to sit down beside you.
"airport pics are mandatory." mia takes your phone from off the top of your carry-on.
"this is mia. i'm here with the talented y/n as he emotional support guide through her journey." mia blows a kiss to the camera.
you shake your head, turning the camera toward yourself.
"this is why she's coming with me."
the two of you burst into laughter as the boarding announcement echoes through the terminal.
"bye everyone! hopefully i can give your updates while in south korea."

Namjoon holds tightly onto Kora's hand as they walk from the apartment to the parking lot. The walk to the car was full of little steps and tiny hops.
Kora held her stuffed bunny tucked under one arm, its ears flopping with every bounce.
Namjoon opened the car door for her and helped her climb in, making sure she was settled.
“Arms up,” he said.
She lifted them obediently, and he buckled her in, double-checking the straps like he always did.
“Comfy?”
“Yes.”
“Good.”
He shut the door gently, then walked around and got into the driver’s seat.

Blue Wedding
Paring: Kim Namjoon x Black!reader
Warning: parental rejection, emotional distress, strained family relationships
Your father had been against you dating Namjoon from the day you announced your relationship and brought him home. He didn't say is in so many words, "You can do better" or "Oh" were more than enough for you to know he didn't like or accept the man you are marrying today.
It wasn’t just the words, either. It was the way he barely looked at Namjoon across the dinner table, the way conversations would suddenly shift or die out the moment he spoke.
Despite all that, Namjoon still tried. Even when your father made it clear he didn’t want him around, Namjoon remained respectful, patient and hopeful, even. He showed up, again and again, trying to build something that your father refused to meet him halfway on.
And it had been hard on you.

Kim Namjoon introduces his daughter to the world through a variety show.
Pairing: Namjoon x Black!reader
7:02 am
The episode opens quietly.
The camera is already rolling, setup in a softly lit living room. Morning sunlight filters through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the space. Toys are scattered neatly in one corner, a small tent set up with a camera tucked inside.
A small child appears blurred at the edge of the hallway as the camera starts to focus on her coming down the hallway. Her small feet pat down the hall as she slowly makes her way into the living room.
She pauses.
To viewers, it almost looks like the screen has frozen—like the broadcast is buffering. But it isn’t.
She’s just standing there.
Completely still.
Her big brown eyes widen at the new people —strangers in her home— as she takes in the cameras, the strange tent with someone clearly inside it, and someone putting up one last camera. Her tiny brows furrow in confusion.
[Oh no! Our new baby is frightened. Someone come quick!]
"Appa?" She calls out softly.
From off-screen, a familiar voice responds, still groggy with sleep.
“I’m here, baby.”
Kim Namjoon steps into view, his hair messy, voice low from just waking up. The moment he sees her frozen in place, he smiles gently.
[The new dad is Kim Namjoon, soloist and leader of group BTS!]
“Good morning.” He says in English.
She doesn’t move as her eyes remain on the camera people. Slowly, cautiously, she breaks eye contact and lifts her arms toward him.
A silent request.
Namjoon lets out a quiet, fond laugh as picks her up without hesitation.
[Namjoon: Hello, I’m Kim Namjoon. I’m the dad of 4-year-old Kora.]
Kora looks around again and looks at the person in the tent, before leaning close to her dad's ear.
"Good morning." She finally whispers back, responding to his earlier greeting.
Namjoon smiles softly. “Good morning, baby.” He carefully unravels a few of the curls that have tangled together, gentle and practiced. Some are coiled a little too tightly around each other, and he makes a quiet mental note to fix them properly later.
"Feeling shy?"
Kora nods against him, her cheek now pressed to his shoulder.
"Can we eat now?" Kora hugs Namjoon's nick tightly, still watching everything from the safety of his shoulder. “I’m hungry.”
Namjoon adjusts her slightly in his arms. “Alright, let’s go eat.”
As he starts toward the kitchen, Kora glances back one more time at the cameras. The person in the tent comes out and follows behind them.
“They’re coming too?” Kora whispers.
Namjoon smiles. “Yeah, they are.”
She thinks about it for a second, then sighs softly, resting her head back on his shoulder.
"Okay." She says it in a way that makes it clear—she’s accepted the strangers into her home.
8:34 am
After breakfast it's time to get ready for the day. Namjoon sits Kora down on her feet as he places the dishes in the sink. The pans he used also makes their way into the sink.
Namjoon turns to Kora who has been following behind him the whole time with pieces of fruit in both hands.
"Okay..." he says. “Hair time.”
Kora immediately pauses mid-bite.
“No.” She says softly.
Namjoon huffs a quiet laugh. “No?”
She shakes her head. “It’s gonna hurt.”
His expression softens instantly.
“It won’t,” He promises, crouching in front of her. “I’ll be really gentle. I always am, right?”
Kora always rejected her dad doing her hair. He wasn't as gentle as her mom is with her hair. But he had been practicing on dolls on how to comb and brush through the hair without pulling or harming.
"Okay, but be gentle."
Namjoon picks Kora up and carries her into the master bathroom, where all of her hair products are neatly lined up along the counter.
He sets her down gently on the counter, standing close so she feels secure.
“Okay,” he murmurs. “We’re gonna start with some water.”
Kora watches him carefully in the mirror, her small hands still gripping the fruit.
He picks up the spray bottle and lightly mists the ends of her curls first, making sure they’re evenly damp before moving up toward the roots.
Once her hair is damp, he switches to a wide-tooth comb, working slowly from the ends upward, carefully detangling each section instead of pulling through.
Kora tenses slightly at first.
“Too hard?” he asks immediately.
“…No,” she says after a second. “You’re being gentle.”
He smiles a little at that, clearly taking it as a win.
“Good.”
When her curls are fully detangled, he takes a small amount of cream custard, applying it carefully to the front and through her curls, smoothing it in to keep everything soft and defined.
He switches to a soft brush, carefully brushing her hair back, making sure not to tug. Once everything is smooth, he gathers her curls together.
“Almost done,” he says.
Kora lifts her chin slightly, watching his hands in the mirror.
Namjoon takes a scrunchie and gently ties her hair into a ponytail, securing it without pulling too tight.
“There,” he says softly. “All done.”
Kora immediately reaches up, patting her hair.
“…It doesn’t hurt,” she says, sounding a little surprised.
Namjoon smiles, meeting her eyes in the mirror. “Told you.”

"Wife" - Kim Namjoon
Pairing: Namjoon x Black!reader
"Wife!" Hearing Namjoon call you from the kitchen, you leave the bedroom and find him sitting on the living room couch.
"Yes?"
"Nothing." He giggles, which makes you laugh at his silly annoying antics. Since you married last month, he hasn't stopped calling you Wife.
"I just wanted to call your name."
"My name?" You plop down onto the couch beside him and kick your feet up onto his lap. His hands take one foot into his and starts massaging your feet.
"Yeah, your name. I love calling you wife."
“You’re so annoying,” You mumble, though the smile on your face says otherwise.
“Annoying?” He gasps dramatically, pressing a hand to his chest. “I just got married and already my wife is bullying me.”
“You deserve it,” You laugh, nudging him with your foot.
“Hmm… I don’t know. I think I deserve a kiss instead.” Namjoon leans closer to you and you meet him halfway and kiss him.
His hand moves from your foot to your ankle, gently pulling you a little closer.
“I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of that,” He admits quietly.
“Of what?”
“Kissing my wife.”
Your heart skips, and you try to hide your smile.
“Good,” You whisper. “Because you’re stuck with me.”
"And you're stuck with me, my beautiful wife."
After a few more kisses you pull away as you have to get back to taking your braids out.
He's able to get one last quick kiss before you pull away, his hand lingering around your ankle like he’s reluctant to let you go.
“Already leaving me?” He pouts slightly.
You laugh, sitting up and nudging his arm with the foot not in his hands. “I have to finish taking my braids out, Joon.”
“Hmm,” He hums, still holding onto you. “Or… you could stay here and let your loving husband take them out for you.”
You raise a brow, amused. “You? You would be patient enough for that?”
“I’m deeply offended,” He says, placing a hand over his heart again. “I am a very patient man.”
“Says the guy who met me at the clothing store when I spent 5 mintues longer there than I usually do.”
Yes, Namjoon drove 30 minutes all the way from home to the clothing store because your location hadn’t changed. He knew how long you usually spent in there—which wasn’t long, because you hated shopping.
Also, you didn’t answer your phone.
“And I’ll do it again,” He grins. “Wife.”
You shake your head, smiling as you slide your foot out of his grasp and stand.
“Finish what you started in the bathroom, husband,” You tease over your shoulder.
He watches you go, a soft smile settling on his face.
“Yes, ma’am,” He calls after you. “Anything for my wife.”
