So there is this book, the first in a series, that I’ve been working on for like….five years….and I can feeeel it getting closer. It has elves, country kids, smugglers, and an overly motherly furry dragon sort of creature.

To encourage and otherwise delight me, my friend @todaybybryn commissioned @phantomrin for this beautiful portrait of my hero’s parents…and him too of course, though you can’t see him. And I sort of feel like this picture is a good representation of how I’m feeling about my book……I can’t wait for it to come out.

“When’s the due date?”

We don’t have one yet. But I’m in the 3rd draft, soon to start working with beta readers and then later a polishing editor….then……we’ll see….stick around… ;)
