Relief was probably the wrong word to use in the face of Liloâs rising anxiety, but relief was what Rapunzel felt; she wasnât the only one uncomfortable with their sudden change in living arrangements. Sheâd assumed her days of confinement were long over.. though that didnât mean it wasnât easy to slip back into old routine, sketchpad in hand. Ever curious about the new people around her, Rapunzelâs aimless doodles had shifted into a rough attempt at capturing the sharp angles of the cheekbones of the older woman accompanying them. âDonât worry too much,â the blonde offered up from her crosslegged position, giving Lilo a shy smile, âWe may have an all-you-can-eat safety net, but thereâs other stuff people just gotta do if Scar wants his circus presentable. Maybe we can bargain for freedom through shower passes.â
The turn of attention to her didnât help at all, with all the people talking to her it just made aware of how close they all are and how close everything was. With them so close talking in the enclosed space she obviously had to be breathing in their air which had to mean that the air was much more stuffy and suddenly the air felt very thick. Â
As with most people telling her to calm down did not help. She was however able to keep herself from physically freaking out. Instead of letting herself hyperventilate she slowed her breathing almost to the point of holding it in. She smiled to the woman and smiled, âNo. Right. Iâm good. Fine. Fine.âÂ
Taking the stuffed friend from Zero, âAweâŚItâs so cute. But I donât want to hurt it.â With so much time with her dolls she was more inclined to treat things like this with care though with a pumpkin it wasnât necessary. Instead she held it with both hands against her torso giving it a sort of hug and did indeed find it kind of soothing. But then held back out to him , âYou should probably keep it. Iâll be okay.âÂ
Climbing into a booth she took a seat on top of the backs instead of down where she was supposed to be. âI donât care about freedom really, I donât mind being locked in if it was a nice big open room. â
Watching from her spot at a table, Jessicaâs eyes went from Zero and around the room back to Lilo. Poor girl must not care for closed in spaces under pressure. âItâs probably only protocol that weâre here,â she said, crossing her legs. âIâm sure everythingâs fine. Weâll be out soon enough.âÂ
Even if she wondered why herself theyâd been put back into cars that werenât their own as soon as they boarded to leave Norway. If it wasnât anything of value, couldnât they just have been told in their rooms? Or over breakfast? Nothing had changed in the dining room, the booths and tables were all still there - no, wait, a section had been cleared but that could mean anything.Â
Jessica wondered where Roger was and if he was okay, a twinge of something unpleasant in her belly thinking how theyâd been separated again, remembering what had happened to him not too long ago.Â
"Everyone sit down, relax." She said as she got up to open the window. It only budged a crack, not opening entirely, which was strange. She pushed at it again a little harder and it didnât move, but it would have to do for now. At least there was a small breeze of fresh air coming in. "Thereâs no good if we rile ourselves up, this entire thing will be done with shortly Iâm sure and then we can go back to our rooms."
