Frogs! There were so many of them hanging out in this pond. I didn't get any photos, but we also saw tadpoles under the lily pads.

A beaver! He was thankfully too busy eating to really swim away so I got a couple of shots!

A barn swallow! I find that they don't like to stay still unless they're nesting but this guy but a good show!

A snapping turtle! I didn't realize how big they could be!

This was a tiny little turtle on the edge of a path. I really wanted to take it closer to the marsh but since we're in a national park, it's best to just observe!

These two were in the same area! One was out foraging and swimming around and the other was taking a snooze!

Can you tell from the video? I have no clue. I just find it neat that water is behaving differently. One sode hits the beach straight on while the other side seems to almost unfurl and travel towards the camera.

These were taken at a local conservation area. It contains a marsh area but it also a large area for shorebirds to come and rest. I feel pretty lucky to be sandwiched between a national park and a separate conservation area.

I was looking through my folder and found this one. I like taking pictures of pathways and how you can never see where they go until you get to end of it.

To be among the leaves! I wanted to try something close to the ground with all the leaves and I think this was the best of the three I took.

I thought all of my pictures of this snake I took in the spring was horribly blur but this isn't as bad. I'm not a snake expert but I believe this snake was shedding or about to shed since its eye is blue. It's a good place to hide!

What I think is an American Coot hanging out with a pair of Mallards!
