Installed Linux Mint on my decade-old laptop today *rubs hands excitedly*

I had it partitioned about 8 years ago to run Unbuntu/Windows dual-boot, but ended up never using it. The battery is kaput, and the last windows update it did prevented my WiFi drivers from working properly, so. Why not completely wipe Windows from it and try Linux?

Haven't done much aside from explore menus and stuff. But I like it so far, and am excited to use it as my main writing platform! My desktop build I use for gaming and art, but I might try some light games and Krita on my laptop (thankfully I have a Huion tablet which supports Linux) to see how solid Linux is for that stuff. If it all goes well, I might seriously consider using Linux for my next desktop build. Not a fan of Windows 11 🙃

It's good to see how far Linux has gotten in the past decade. Now if we can get kernel-level gaming on it, that would have people switching over in droves.

I wonder if yautja hate touchscreen human tech because their skin is so thick compared to ours. And if we would keep making mistakes on theirs due to our thin skin.

I boulder, and my fingertips are so rough and thick that typing and using fingerprint ID can be INCREDIBLY frustrating 😭

Turye and Brooke are essentially Dek and Thia, if their personalities were reversed 🤣 Turye wriggled his way into becoming her younger adoptive brother/hunt brother, and he has a tendency to annoy her to no end. Poor Brooke.
