I saw it on television" and you go "was it in the series where the guy was a depressed alcoholic because the point was showing that being obsessed with the abstract concept of being a man will make you unhappy" and they go "yeah it was that one" and you go "well you know you could stop doing all that literally any time and instead do things that make you happy" and they go "no i want to do this. I want to be sad no matter what and i just need you to be really upset about it" and you go "why would i be upset about you making yourself sad for no fucking reason" and they go "because i'm a man. That has to be really important to you"
