Forgot I write too. Here's a short story/freestyle poem I just came up with while listening to a creepypasta
There's a bear outside my house. It's asleep right now and only wakes up when I go outside.
It used to be much further away when I was a kid. I first saw it when I was a kid. I told my ma, and she said bears are everywhere and we see them every day. I told my dad, and he said bears aren't real and that whatever it is, I should just ignore it. I didn't know who or what to believe.
But, I still saw it. About a yard away; watching me, staring at me.
And everyday it got closer. First inches, thank feet, until it was practically outside the window of my childhood home. By the time I was older, it was scratching at my window snarling and baring it's teeth.
So, I stayed in my room, hoping it would go away. Bears weren't really according to my dad. So I couldn't tell him. I was still surprised he couldn't see it. I was more upset that he didn't see it more than the Bear being there.
My mom was already gone at that point.ย The Bear had already gotten to her.
One say I finally got the courage to tell dad.
"There's a bear outside" I said to him. "It has teeth sharp as nails and it's as big as the door itself." I tried to convince him. He had enough and left me outside with the bear right there.
Turns out, my mom was outside with her car. I snuck passed, and we drove way upstate to try to outrun it. I was in the guestroom when I saw it. The bear. It followed me there. Now, it was violently clawing at the window, roaring. My ma said to deal with it. I couldn't. She drove me back. This time, I was in front of an apartment building. And it seems the bear wasn't there. I got comfortable. I put up curtains, and I slept better than before.
Then suddenly, in the tender hours of the night, I heard it. 'Tap, tap, tap'
I thought it was a tree so, I ignored it. But it came again. 'Tap, tap, tap'. I tried to ignore it again. "It's not real" I told myself. It kept on in the night until I couldn't take it anymore. I got up and opened the curtains. No, it could be. There's no way. But, there it was, as clear as day in the dim hour of night. That bear was back.
"Stop!" I demanded. "Leave me alone!" I pleaded. But that didn't work. It only got louder and louder. It felt like it was gonna break my window.
It took years before I finally got out to tell someone. She said she's delt with bears before. She said I could taim it and she gave me a leash. It took months, but I finally did it. I taimed it, but not all the way. But, every day, I chain it to a tree before I go to work.
Sometimes, it escapes, and I see it. But now, every day, I lead it further way from my home. It still shows up at my window but only at night now, and very rarely does it show. But it's gotten better since I got that leash.
