Honestly, man, I think that they all just kind of hate each other. Or at least, they don't get along very well because their ideals clash with each other. Silent Salt obviously hates all of them including himself. In kingdom interactions, Burning Spice has threatened to destroy Eternal Sugar's garden- which she was clearly not happy about- and it's implied he wants to rip off her wings like he did to Golden Cheese. Mystic Flour has referred to Burning Spice as "the noisy one" and says that she "pities those who fail to understand the merit of becoming dust before crumbling by your hand" during their kingdom interaction, and in One of Darkness Absolute, she says she finds his hunger for destruction unappealing. Mystic Flour also seems to find Eternal Sugar's love for Hollyberry to be futile, and Eternal Sugar is distressed by the thought that Mystic Flour's philosophy implies that the happiness she strives for is meaningless as well.

Burning Spice has threatened to destroy the garden because his whole thing’s about knowing that things will wither sooner or later, so to save time and pain, destroy it now (which opposes Eternal Sugar who wants to keep her garden and herself pristine and “happy”). This goes with Mystic Flour, who doesn’t seem to mind the crumbling of cookies, but it does “frustrate” her how he doesn’t give the cookies the chance to understand how futile life is and choose to crumble

Eternal Sugar thinks the answer to everything is happiness within the garden, so Burning Spice wanting to destroy what she thinks is the solution is frustrating. And you’ve mentioned why Mystic Flour frustrates her as well

Mystic Flour, as previously stated, thinks all want and emotion is futile, so Eternal Sugar’s strive for happiness and Burning Spice’s lust for destruction are things she thinks have no need, so she verbalizes this to her friends as an attempt to “enlighten” them

Toronto is not a wildfire-prone area. It is extremely close to the USA border, and the smog is currently affecting NY right now. There is literal chunks of debris in the air. The sky is orange, and the sun is nowhere to be seen.

Climate change and its effects are right outside your door. Data centres are the cause for the insane heat waves across the globe, and the increase in wildfires and other natural disasters.

You will watch recordings of the world burn around you, and only when you are behind the camera will you realize there is no going back.

For added context, many of the indigenous groups were woken up in the middle of the night to be evacuated, unable to take anything with them but the clothes on their back. As well as most of the communitys not being accessible by road, and some having to evacuate without the help first responders.

As you can probably already assume, this is leaving many indigenous communities without homes or places to go, as well as hurting the ecosystem they rely on to survive once the wildfires die down and they go to settle again.

As OP said, the wildfires are not only affecting the indigenous population. Smoke and smog traveling to more Urban areas both in southern Ontario and even traveling into America and into the city of New York. The toxic smoke filling the air and blocking out sight, as well as posing a health risk with those who may have to work, walk, or even live in these poor air quality situations. Especially for those homeless, or whom live in building which don't have good air filters or have to chose between boiling or breathing in smog.

As well as, there being peices of ash falling down from the sky, and soot being smeared all over buildings and the ground when it rains. (As well as possible increased severe weather phenomena)

As OP stated, Toronto had the worst air quality in the world due to these events. But to put in perspective just what that means. Usually, air quality is measured in a scale of one to ten, one being "low risk", meaning that you won't be affected by the air quality outside. And ten being high risk, meaning that you shouldn't go outside unless nessacary, and that you will be at great Risk of having some sort of complication if you have any lung or immune issues.

Now, with that in mind. Toronto was measured at a 11.

As well as •Hamilton •London •Windsor and •Winnipeg and many other city's being in the high or moderate Risk zone (4-6)

My synopsis

The wildfires have displaced and hurt many indigenous communities, ripping their homes away from them and hurting the ecosystem in northeastern Ontario. Burning down towns and forcing people to evacuate overnight with only what they are wearing. Not only this, but the smog has traveled down to sourths Ontario and northeastern America, making the air toxic and possibly stirring up health issues to those living where the smoke has fallen over, and for those who may have to work or do strenuous activities in such a situation. This situation had hurt many people, and is still escalating. And presumably will get worse year over year. I suggest to everyone reading this to just quickly skim over the site I provided below, they are a quick read, and do a much better job at explaining the circumstances than I can with something I wrote in an hour. The official Canadian website also has real time updates on the wildfires and air quality risk areas.
