i hate how we have turned "too woke" into an insult.

yes, i am too aware.

yes, i have conditioned myself outside of the inherent bias pushed on to me.

i need people to understand that shifting is not moving your consciousness. shifting is manipulating your perception of reality. consciousness is your body's ability to move, talk, and the sort. when you shift, your body is still conscious. shifting is manipulating how you percieve reality.

why are we aware of this reality?

in my opinion, shifting is the ability to manipulate your perception of reality. scripting is externalizing which reality you want to percieve.

we are aware of this reality because in every reality your body has to interact with that reality in some shape/form. when you shift, you are manipulating how you percieve reality itself. you are morphing your awareness of this reality into awareness of that reality.

your body does not stop. nothing does. this reality will continue as if you never left, because you are still here. your consciousness and body is still here.

but, your awareness of reality is elsewhere.

we manipulate our awareness of reality from information from realities we are aware of.

when you shift, you are not taking over your drself's body.

a body is a body, but experience and perception is eternal. <- i will make a post explaining why age-changing (down) and why able-changing, race-changing, and the sort is wrong.

when you shift, you simply manipulate how you interact with reality, through sight, touch, taste, smell, and audio.

i kind of do not care if people think i am "mean" or "rude". in the context of for example, a race changer. why should i care about your feelings when you do not care about people of colors feelings?

in the shifting community specifically, someone said it very well and I completely agree.

the shifting community prioritizes white people's feelings over people of color's oppression.

"do not harass me because I will still race change either way!!" and that is why you are a racist, you take criticism for your racist mindset, as harassment.

personally, i do not block people as i am not afraid to be harassed or criticized for my beliefs. if my beliefs are bigoted, i am completely open to change my beliefs.

i feel like blocking, on the internet, is a slippery slope.

yes, blocking has prevented sexual harassment, online bullying, and the sort.

but, it has also created spaces where people avoid conflict, differing opinions, and the sort.

i an completely open to differing opinions, but having a differing opinion does not mean your opinion cannot be inherently bigoted or discriminative.

i believe in the shifting community, it has created a space where people see something that is critical or that is not inherently uplifting, as something that is "bad".

people should be allowed to talk about how they do not believe you are exactly your drself, people should be allowed to criticize how the shifting community handles bigotry within shifting, and the sort.

instead, the community has become toxically positive, to a point where if they are a shifter, their bigotry is ignored.

if you ask me, there really is no moral reason to shift as another race.

"i want to educate myself on other peoples race so i can better understand their struggle"

this does not work, because i could say "i want to shift to be disabled to understand how disabled people feel". imagine telling a disabled person that you want to be disabled so you can "understand their struggle". it is simply disrespectful, and "dehumanizes" a person's struggle as an experience to simply have. people oppressed in this society is a life, not an experience.

many white people, specifically lower class white people, will refuse to acknowledge their white privilege due to their proximity to classism. they will say things like "i cannot use my privilege". the concept of privilege, is not something you use. it can be something you use, but it is something you live.

pretty privilege is a privilege in which you are treated with more courtesy or respect for being attractive. you live with pretty privilege, people are less likely to suspect you of stealing, people will give you their seat on the train, and the sort. you do not "use" your privilege, you live it.

currently, I am travelling across states (US) and visiting family. I was able to walk around the city, but the air quality was absolutely horrible due to the Canadian fires. I visited a nature preserve and had ice cream with my grandparents 🙂

Many of my my posts will be exploring morality within the confines of shifting, so if you are uncomfortable with that fact please block me, I do not want any comments speaking of "you are starting drama". It is absolutely infuriating

Hello, I was the person who submitted this confession, and I wanted to elaborate.

Honestly, with what I have observed in multiple shifting communities, most shifters have a tendency to avoid issues then deal with their own bigotry.

A couple arguments I have observed are "stop arguing and just shift!", "if you guys did not argue you would shift", "it is their reality", "we need to mind our business", and the sort.

Firstly, "stop arguing, just shift" is extremely avoidant. Avoiding an issue does not fix it. Yes, the shifting community is brought together over the shared interest of shifting, but these issues are shifting-adjacent. Shifting as another race is a shifting-related discussion.

Secondly, "if you guys did not argue, you would shift", I need you all to realize that your ability to shift is not controlled by outside forces. Personally, I have not shifted merely because I enjoy being in this reality, but I enjoy the idea of being able to travel to other realities if I so wanted. Arguing with others does not affect one's ability to shift, if anything they are exploring how shifting is operated by others.

I need many of you to remember, shifting is a spiritual practice. If I am not mistaken, it was discovered by people in South Asia. Please remember to treat this practice with respect, meaning respect those who taught this practice to others. Many shifters mistaken the Pandemic and Tiktok shifters as the creators of shifting, which is simply online colonialism if you ask me.

Thirdly, "it is their reality", is not correct. None of us own a reality. Our desired realities, already existed, and have always existed. Every moment creates trillions of realities, shifting is manipulating which reality we percieve. We are everyone and no one all at once. But, our ability to percieve these realities, stems from this reality. It is your intention to shift to another reality to commit said act, or shift as another race, that makes one shifting to that reality, immoral. "Morality fluctuates in every reality" Yet, you are discussing morality from this reality. You are choosing to shift to that reality, with knowledge from this reality.
