daydreams are relaxing, it's the getting snapped out of them that isn't. but yes, i've been there. i think because i read so often it's easy for me to just mentally visualize things in my imagination. it happened to me more often as a teenager, but my mom did not put up with it either. though it can be difficult to stay focused on someone talking about something that you're clearly not interested in.
relaxing is the perfect way to put it. it's like drifting off before sleeping, but still awake. i swear, sometimes i feel more energized daydreaming rather than a nap. really, she should know better than talking about it. kidding, kidding. usually, i'm up to listening to her. even when it's about something i'm not particularly fond of.
