Just wrapped up my 10th HBS Reunion in Boston – and what an incredible experience it was! 🎓✨

Spending time back on campus, catching up with old classmates (who’ve become lifelong friends), meeting new ones, and attending inspiring lectures from HBS professors and the Dean was truly special. The energy, the conversations, and the fresh perspectives on today’s markets, innovations, and global challenges made it unforgettable.

Being back in the classroom brought back so many great memories and reminded me how grateful I am to be part of the HBS community. The reunion was equal parts nostalgic, insightful, and motivating.

Pit stop in NYC on the way to Boston for my 10th HBS reunion turned out way bigger than expected! It had been 7 long years since I last hit the city… way too long. So much has changed, but that unmatched energy, hustle, and vibe are still very much alive. And then, the Knicks are in the Finals! I’m a Lakers guy through and through, but back in 2004 when I moved to NYC, I got Knicks season tickets and fully experienced the pain myself 😂. Seeing the whole city come together to cheer them on is pure magic. If anyone can beat the Alien, it’s the Big Apple. Good luck, Knicks! 🗽🔥

Shared my entrepreneurial journey — from early startups and successful exits, through crowdfunding adventures, to the world of Web3, blockchain, DAOs, and AI agents. It was inspiring to discuss perseverance, spotting opportunities, and the future of innovation with motivated students in Prof. Dr. Boštjan Antončič’s Entrepreneurship course.

An insightful day at Dialog za Prihodnost 2.0 conference, beautifully organized by Trilateralna Komisija Slovenije at Brdo pri Kranju.  

Amazing panels on financial markets, geopolitics, education, health, sport, culture… basically everything that shapes our future. A true learning experience!  

Highlight of the day: listening to President Borut Pahor share his insights on where we are and where we’re heading on a global stage.  

Grateful for the invitation, for reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.

This year, I had the honor of joining the SoundGarden Festival as a mentor, supporting four inspiring teams as they prepared to launch their Kickstarter campaigns.

Over the past few months, we worked closely through a dedicated Crowdfunding Boot Camp, refining their stories, strategies, and campaigns. At the SoundGarden Festival, they proudly presented their projects on the main stage – it was a special moment to celebrate their vision and courage.

Big thanks to the SoundGarden team for organizing this powerful program and to everyone who came out to support the local changemakers.

I joined the international Entrepreneurship course led by Professor Dr. Boštjan Antončič and had the chance to share my entrepreneurial journey with a great group of sophomore students. We explored how Web3 and blockchain are shaping new business models—and why I’ve been focused on this space in recent years through the Kenmare fund.

Endless scenic landscapes, thrilling off-road adventures, and a fantastic group of passionate explorers. From rugged mountain trails to stunning coastal views, every moment was an adventure.

Creative energy, bold ideas, and inspiring design — Milan never disappoints. 🇮🇹✨ 

As a mentor in the WORTH Partnership Project, I was invited to Milan during Design Week to lead a workshop for the innovative teams in this year’s program. It was a pleasure to work with such passionate creatives and support their projects in fashion, design, and lifestyle innovation.

Beyond the workshop, I had the chance to explore some of Milan's impressive exhibitions. 

So much creativity packed into one city, one week. Grateful for the opportunity and inspired by what’s ahead!

From Kendo to Sumo, and a whole lot of Karate in between 🇯🇵🥋    

Back from an incredible trip to Osaka, Japan, where I dove deep into the world of Shukokai karate — training hard, competing in local tournaments, and pushing both body and mind. This year’s journey was even more special as I had the chance to train Samurai-style with a real Katana sword and experience the electric atmosphere of a live Sumo tournament.    

Beyond the dojo, I fully immersed myself in Japanese culture — from history and rituals to some unforgettable cuisine. Every moment was a reminder of the discipline, beauty, and depth of this incredible country.    

A huge thank you to Sensei Masataka Ohshita for once again welcoming us to Osaka. Humbled and grateful.
