I do have sympathy for instacart drivers because they are absolutely exploited. However, the main reason I mostly stopped using instacart since 2022 is that the drivers are also mostly terrible at the job. If your job is buying groceries you should be able to tell the difference between fresh basil leaves and a tube of basil paste.

I think what I need is to have someone sit down and make me swipe right and start conversations instead of overthinking it and closing the app when I see someone who's not an obvious swipe left.
