Some ass compare all Black people being represented by light-skinned/biracials to all Africans being represented by Black people. Like here's the problems with that comparison:

The former is based on a skin tone bigotry, the other is based on the vast majority of the truth.

Most Black people are not light-skinned and they're certainly not biracial. Most Africans are Indigenous Black.

Y'all only have this energy about Black Africans whenever they get decent to great media representation that doesn't show them as savages or poverty porn. Nevermind how much Middle Easterners have the monopoly on Egyptian representation; fair-skinned Asians have the monopoly on Asian representation; nobody ever acknowledges the existence of Siddi in SEA; dark-skinned Black people existence in Brazil is downplayed heavily; dark-skinned biracials rarely exist in media; Albinoes and vitiligoes are always Black and never any other race; New York gets constantly whitewashed; Jews are always Eurocentric rep; transgenders are almost always pre-op rep or never non-black People of Color; and white people have a monopoly near everything in damn near every type of entertainment, especially in North American, Latino, and European countries. Yet we have to care about colonists in Africa who only claim "African" when they want to appropriate culture or steal resources from Black Africans/African Americans. Nevermind how much they demonize Black Indigenous people in their media, haven't made any reparations or remorse, and claim white genocides that have never existed. Hypocritically you won't say anything about those.
