Hello All! On Halloween, I decided to use the energy of the evening to honor my ancestors and renew my magic! Here is a quick and easy spell to do when you’re feeling ungrounded or lost.
Here’s what I used:
Salt (for protection)
A Metal Bowl
A White Candle
Corn Husk
Empty Bottle
Cinnamon and Seasonal Spices (To Represent the Season)
Black Tea (To Balance the Spell and Calm the Spirits)
Red Pepper (To Quicken the Message and Add Potency)
Start by lighting the candle and relaxing. Then read the pictured spell three times (once as you add the ingredients, once as you light the spell on fire, and once as you watch the smoke rise). Feel free to change the spell to reflect your wishes and please perform this spell in a well ventilated and fire safe area.
Once the fire has dissipated, put the ashes into a bottle and keep it with you at all times. I hope you try this spell out and feel as calm and renewed as I do!

sea salt (for protection)
quartz shards (for energy and help accomplishing your tasks)
rosemary (for energy and help accomplishing your tasks)
rose quartz (for love and positivity)
crushed bay leaves (for protection and energy)
aventurine shards (for luck and a can-do attitude!)
thyme herb (for calming confidence)
amethyst shards (for the power to accomplish your tasks)
citrine shards (for joy and positivity)

BOOK OF SHADOWS UPDATE:
Hello! Here is an update from my book! It’s one of the more unique entries in that it really doesn’t have anything to do with magic in the “traditional” sense. I like to incorporate homestead and survival information into my book because that is the origin of witchcraft. Our craft uses the environment around us to help us live our lives, just like survival tips or a recipe on how to make bread! My craft encompasses my whole life, not just the ~magic~ side!
