- wendy’s laid back personality is 100% something that would be well suited for kim. not only does kim have a more angry streak to her, but she’s riddled with social anxiety. point is wendy would find her odd behaviors cute rather than off putting.
- both are extremely active girlies. i can see them going on jogs together.
- wendy would put her head on kim’s shoulder and kim would go silent for a really long time.
- the two would start out as just friends. with the girls bonding quickly. idk if the grunkles brought them to Ouimper for holiday because of all the weird things, but somehow they meet and are immediately buddies
- mable would relate to romy’s desire to have more friends and just general wanting to be liked.
- they would swap sweaters and jackets
- romy would be really annoyed with mable’s boy-craziness until she realizes that she’s annoyed because she wants mable to talk about her that way.
- they would write each other long letters and be “pen pals” for a year before eventually romy confesses to mable.

- i honestly think this would be canon if the shows connected even tho it’s my least favorite potential pairing
- romy is basically a younger version of wendy whose less laid back
- she would loooove monster hunting with dipper
- they’d be the type of couple where no one knows they’re dating

that being said i’ll include one more hetero ship i guess:
- on first glance this seems like… oh look a boy and a girl standing there talking to one another
- however i think mable would be really good for bobby’s abandonment issues
- they’re also both goofy generally upbeat kids
- i think bobby would be overwhelmed with how romantic mable is tho
- honestly, they would be much better as friends but they could be cute
- it’s very dude who loves his girlfriend x girlfriend
- bobby would be ok with mable doing his makeup which automatically makes them peak.

now last but not least the one i think is the best:
- it would almost certainly be rivals to lovers
- bobby would be IMMENSELY threatened by dipper being friends with romy
- i don’t think romance has ever crossed bobby’s mind once so he would just assume dipper’s trying to replace him
- however i can REALLY see dipper thinking he liked romy but it’s more of projection/forced hetero feelings
- but even when they don’t like each other, dipper is fascinated with bobby’s curse
- if bobby has lingering scars from the experience, you already know dipper would be caught staring at him
- he would defensively say he’s just curious about the supernatural
- he does also draw “the bobby” in his journal for yk science reasons…
- eventually they get put in a dangerous scenario and work together really well
- mable and romy probably save them
- stuff happens and eventually they open up to one another
- being possessed by an other worldly entity is an experience only a few people can relate to
- but specifically being manipulated by said entity and haunted by it is even rarer
- i think dipper especially would relate to how mordam made bobby feel special
- perhaps dipper alone could understand why bobby kinda liked being haunted by that monster
- suddenly both boys realize that their feelings of hatred towards one another honestly stemmed from their own internalized self-loathing. the boy before you isn’t a threat that’s going to take what little you have. he is an opportunity to expand upon what is good. and get healthier.
