Part 2 of drawing my Animal Crossing Villagers as humans. Second in line was my boy, Biskit.

I decided to go with a satyr because I just straight up didn’t want to draw a Minotaur.

I’ve been drawing my Animal Crossing villagers as humans in my sketchbook. I decided to throw Ankha into Procreate to clean her up and fix some mistakes. I might do it with the others too.

Happy new year! One of my biggest goals for this year is to finish an entire sketchbook by the end of the year. I’ve always had a hard time keeping a sketchbook, so I really want to push myself into using one regularly. I don’t know if I’ll share every spread (because I want to give myself the freedom not to), but here’s my new year’s spread. I’ve been making wassail every year for the past few years, so here are a few of the ingredients I use. I did this with acrylic paint makers and microns. I originally colored in the background and then immediately hated it and tried to paint over it. But that didn’t work out so it got a little grungy.

I wanted to do a 2025 art wrapped and then realized… I didn’t make a lot of art this year. I can’t say I’m not a little disappointed in myself, but this year has been a bit of a whirlwind. Either way, I have plans for 2026 that I’m pretty excited about. I might make a video about it later. So here is a recap of the art I did in 2025 (minus the animal crossing one because that was just the most recent picture of “myself” that I had saved 😅).

A phoenix for Aries. I live with an Aries so I thought a phoenix was a good representation of them. The first is aquamarine for March. The second is diamond for April.

Part 2 of my calendar. This is my representation of February. I went with Pisces since Pisces season starts in February. She’s purple to represent amethyst (I made an aquamarine version for March Pisces’). She has ash leaves in her hair and some irises nearby. She also has fish on her shoulder armor. Finally started my calendar project I planned (years ago). This is my representation of January. I went with Aquarius since aquarius season starts in January. She’s not an angel, but I wanted her to both show Aquarius being an air sign and a callback to the myth of Ganymede (who was kidnapped by Zeus in the form of an eagle). She wears red to represent garnet (I made an amethyst version for February Aquarians), and she has rowan leaves in her hair. She is available on my redbubble shop.

Took my son to see Bad Religion and Dropkick Murphys last night! We had so much fun!

Anyway I cried on the way home from this appointment today because I’ve never felt so validated in my life.

I just wanted to draw my pink demon girl again.
