N.I.N.A.

ARTIST STATEMENT (stream of consciousness) -As an artist its my responsible to put my feelings into words and melodies and speak/communicate that for the people who can't…. -I was a vampire in my past life. I'm infatuated by beauty, especially the essence of women. Their power and strength and physical beauty but I'm not gay. -I feel a part of nature. I feel animalistic. I get most of my inspiration from nature, human experiences and animals. -I feel I was put on this earth with a purpose. Not as a girl but as a woman, even though I feel like a girl trapped in a woman's body. I know my calling is being a woman and embracing that. Stepping up to my task and owning who I really am only a woman can do that. Until then I'm just beating around the bush, wasting precious time. -I feel too much, most of the time and I overreact to the smallest things. Being an artist is daring to stay open and not shot emotions down but embrace them no matter what they are. Then dare to translate them into human tongues and sing them. That's my gift to you as an artist. -At times it feels like a burden to be me. Having to carry the expectations of myself and an "outer" force. At times its like draining myself. A drop of blood at a time… its slow and painful but its my only way out to purify myself. To be who I'm really meant to be. To find my peace at last within myself and that will be my gift to you!
