The police gave up. The town moved on. But Amelia never stopped searching.

When she hears whispers of an abandoned circus hidden deep within the woods, she dismisses it as another ghost story—until she learns about the tightrope.

Legend says that if you cross the silver wire that appears at midnight, your deepest wish will come true.

Desperate to bring her brother home, Amelia enters the circus alongside a group of teenagers with wishes of their own.

But the circus was never meant to grant miracles.

Beneath the faded tents and distant calliope music lurks an ancient being known only as the Ringmaster—a charming, human-looking collector who feeds on desperation.

As blood stains the sawdust and the audience grows larger with every victim, Amelia realizes the horrifying truth:

The tightrope doesn’t grant wishes.

It collects souls.

And once the applause begins, there’s no turning back.

They’re just waiting.

I met this soul during a rescue visit. Quiet, gentle… overlooked.
