Astoria turns towards him and holds out her own flower crown and starts showing him while also explaining it

“Well thanks, this is harder than doing parkour”

"If you say so..." she finishes the flower crown and hands it back to him before dragging her backest between them. Inside is Daisy's "Use those to fill gaps"

“Ok, got it” he starts filling up the gaps with daisies

She watches him before grabbing her flower crown and setting it on her head "Why'd you willingly make flower crowns with me? Especially because you didn't know"

"Her and Paris had a small disagreement which involved her being jealous of him having a good godly parent plus good adoptive mothers while she feels like she doesn't really have anyone and he got mad at her for being mad at him...so she's been in hiding for a bit because she still feels really bad about it and wants to give him time to fully cool down"

Cece shrugs "I've talked with Paris and he's cooled down. And I know where Astoria is, I helped her find the best spot to hide out in the woods and I make sure to check on her and give her updates when she asks for them..." Cece pulls her knees to chest "I wish I could help her somehow but she's admitted that she just really misses her dad and I don't know how to help with that, Sunny tried though and I think she helped her feel less alone but not miss her dad any less"

“Soo, should I try to help or am I just gonna make stuff worse?” He interlaces his fingers together

"...I guess you could help. You know what it's like to have your parent that your close to die... Want me to show you where she is?"

"Okay let's go then" Cece gets up and grabs her towel and book

Cece starts walking towards the woods and then into them. After a couple minutes she looks over her shoulder "Stay close and make sure you can see me. The part of the woods we're going to is thicker and easier to get lost in and harder to find things in for some reason"

“That sounds like it’s mythological, which honestly, what isn’t?”

"It's the woods of camp, there's gotta be multiple magical parts all over"

"Honestly yeah it prob-" Cece went quiet and glanced around then grabbed Simon and pulled him behind a tree and mouthed 'monster' while there was the noise of grass rustling as something big walked past on the other side of the tree

He holds his breath and and looks at her, then mouths ‘what the fuck’

Cece holds up a finger and looks around the tree then back at Simon and walks around the tree tugging him with her by his sleeve "What the fuck what?"

“What the fuck was that?!” He whisper shouts

"Just a monster. Not a big deal you can sense if they're close or approaching when the forest goes quiet"

“Well yeah, but do we know what kind?”

"Uhh, a big one? Does it really matter? Ive kind of learned over the years that some of the monsters in the woods mind their business as long as you don't directly get in their path and piss them off"

“Yeah, I’m probably just being paranoid”

"Honestly sometimes if you do cross paths with a monster and in that moment if you have food on you and you give to them they might leave you alone. It's only happened a handful of times to me but it's useful to know"

"Her and Paris had a small disagreement which involved her being jealous of him having a good godly parent plus good adoptive mothers while she feels like she doesn't really have anyone and he got mad at her for being mad at him...so she's been in hiding for a bit because she still feels really bad about it and wants to give him time to fully cool down"

“And you’re just, fine with this?”

Cece shrugs "I've talked with Paris and he's cooled down. And I know where Astoria is, I helped her find the best spot to hide out in the woods and I make sure to check on her and give her updates when she asks for them..." Cece pulls her knees to chest "I wish I could help her somehow but she's admitted that she just really misses her dad and I don't know how to help with that, Sunny tried though and I think she helped her feel less alone but not miss her dad any less"

“Soo, should I try to help or am I just gonna make stuff worse?” He interlaces his fingers together

"...I guess you could help. You know what it's like to have your parent that your close to die... Want me to show you where she is?"

“Yeah, I’d like that”

"Okay let's go then" Cece gets up and grabs her towel and book

“Yep, here we go” he starts following her

Cece starts walking towards the woods and then into them. After a couple minutes she looks over her shoulder "Stay close and make sure you can see me. The part of the woods we're going to is thicker and easier to get lost in and harder to find things in for some reason"

“That sounds like it’s mythological, which honestly, what isn’t?”

"It's the woods of camp, there's gotta be multiple magical parts all over"

“It’s probably all magical”

"Honestly yeah it prob-" Cece went quiet and glanced around then grabbed Simon and pulled him behind a tree and mouthed 'monster' while there was the noise of grass rustling as something big walked past on the other side of the tree

He holds his breath and and looks at her, then mouths ‘what the fuck’

Cece holds up a finger and looks around the tree then back at Simon and walks around the tree tugging him with her by his sleeve "What the fuck what?"

“What the fuck was that?!” He whisper shouts

"Just a monster. Not a big deal you can sense if they're close or approaching when the forest goes quiet"

“Well yeah, but do we know what kind?”

"Uhh, a big one? Does it really matter? Ive kind of learned over the years that some of the monsters in the woods mind their business as long as you don't directly get in their path and piss them off"

“Yeah, I’m probably just being paranoid”
