GOOD Nicklas Backstrom hands out all the beers nicely.

You know, this is one of my favorite pictures ever because it’s deceptively simple but there’s just so much going on.

First of all, you have a long-haired absolute BABY FACED Backstrom, chewing on his bottom lip (and probably some snus) and either dissociating or looking on in judgement at something.

Secondly, upon closer examination Ovi has literally trapped Nicke’s left arm between his thighs.

Seriously. Look at that grip. AND HE KNOWS.

“This isn’t the first time I’ve wrapped my thighs around this man and it won’t be the last.” Damn. Look at that grin.

Lastly, if you were ever wondering WHERE this personal space encroachment picture came from (a basement? what’s with the lamps and beat up couches), SURPRISE, it’s actually from a Washington Capitals v Buffalo Sabres game in the 2009-2010 season:
