Writing and Reading and Books

The temperature has dropped almost 30 degrees since 8 this morning, and the wind is gusting. Winter is back from it's short trip. 😊 (at Southeast Nashua, Nashua, New Hampshire)

Waiting impatiently for sleep, fighting the urge to write until dawn, and wondering how much longer I'll be awake.

Twenty past midnight and you realize that your book is in the car. What do you do? Pull on your shoes, ignore the smell of snow in the air -- and the fact that you're in your pajamas -- and get your book back into the safety of your arms.

That moment when you find out your book is selling at a higher price used than it is new.:)

When you grab your copy of your favorite book because you just need to hide from the world for a little while.

It's raining outside today, here in New Hampshire, and I'm waiting to hear from my favorite bookstore that my books are in. And I really, really, really want to go book hunting.

I want to live in this library.

When studying for your Praxis math test is the last thing you want to be doing. Especially when there are so many other books you could be reading.

Black Friday is here and I am fighting the urge to travel along the back roads of New Hampshire and hung for books in the antique stores.
