| Comradeship | 09/05/18: Final images of Comradeship. The exhibition is set-up with scenography constantly in mind. This is why the lighting is subdued and there are speakers for a sound scape. In the centre of the room is a table, housing pieces of driftwood, arranged into the shape of Peter Thompson’s grave stone. On the first wall of the space there are seven ‘wavescapes’ to immerse the viewer in feeling close to the sea. On the two walls either side are black curtains, to both darken the space and to block out exterior light.

| Comradeship | 07/05/18: Picking up the pace as the opening draws near. Placing the poster in the winder and some strategic wood on the story poster. All hands on deck!

| Comradeship | 06/05/18: More installation shots in Module 1, Röte Straße, Flensburg. This exhibition involved a centre table, soundscapes and photographs nailed into the surrounding walls.

| Comradeship | 06/05/18: Install for Comradeship, an Art and Scenography module in Europa Uni-Flensburg. Focussing on the absent people, the story of Peter Thompson’s burial at the shore of Holnis, after refusal into Flensburg’s harbour was the inspiration of this exhibition.

| Comradeship | 14/05/18: Today is the last day of Comradeship, if you’re in Flensburg head up to Röter Straße for a show of drift wood, photography and sound scapes. Whether you want to learn some local history, hear about some art or find a space outside of your usual routine!

| Comradeship | 09/05/18: The table was constructed by Louis Taubert. Informed by the construction of tables used in museums, we decided to create a table at a low height, covered by glass. The arrangement of the wood was informed by the grave stone of Peter Thompson, the sailor who inspired the exhibition.

| Installation | 27/02/18: Viewing the wall behind the paper and seeing how the projection leaves light shadows on the wall behind.

| Installation | 27/02/18: Here is the final install at night. In this light it is only the projection that illuminates the paper, allowing the cold colour of the projection to lend an aura of disquiet.

| Installation | 27/02/18: Viewing the large sheet from behind as a way to see its fragility. Here I’ve shown images in both day light and at night. In this way there are two views of how the paper interacts with light. As the projection booms, through the paper, it is instantly lit and then fades away.

| Installation | 27/02/18: The final install of the work. By locating the bench far enough away from the paper, it allows the viewer to access it from afar. The bench also gives a space for the person to view the work, thus making it easier for them to see the work and to be immersed in the visual elements.

| Installation | 25/02/18: Here is the final video with sound from the collaboration project. The sound was made with Dermot O'Connor Jnr and Dylan James Connolly. The Irish GDP of the last 20 years acts to choreograph the sound and video elements. Following a 20 year timeline, each 'boom' signals a new year. The sound acts to signal significant moments within Irelands economic history, such as the rise and fall of the celtic tiger, shown by a low tiger growl and then a final roar. There are also moments of tension during Ireland's austerity following the bust in 2009-2011, which is symbolised by cellos, giving a dark depth to the sound. The images of the water follow the rise and fall in GDP with the rise and fall of tides, providing a general analogy to show the flow of money in and out of the country.

| Installation | 23/02/18: Looking more closely at the paper and the delicacy of it in the light. Here the texture appears to be that of concrete of rock, yet the holes and weight of the surface define this comparison.
