The amount of times I have heard how "love is not like a fairy tale". It made me realize how deeply disconnected this world is from love and romance. I dare to believe that we all deserve (both women as men) beautifully handwritten notes, romantic dates, extravagant yet raw love confessions, over the top love gestures, sensual sex, honesty, full appreciation, deep intimacy and conversations. We all deserve to experience a memorable, romantic fairy tale love. People criticize romcoms, fairy tales, love poetry, love songs yet we still continue to consume love related content. This makes me think that the collective has still a long way to go in terms of healing, I am deeply persuaded the world deeply needs pure, divine love yet has so much trauma around love.
