I need your help to take him out," and then in city walls he takes on the mantle of nico, possibly because torchbearer and the banditos don't make it up the tower in time to help him.

the journey of goner 2012 to city walls and everything in between really is just accepting that fear and pain will always be a part of life. you are never going to become the Perfect Version of Yourself™️. you are never going to live a life without mistakes and missteps. you are never going to fully smother out the darkest parts of your mind. you are never going to pass the test of life, because it really is not pass or fail.

but you have to keep TRYING. you have to keep pushing forward, growing, learning, and expanding your perspective.

and even when you face a set back and feel like you're back at the beginning of the same never-ending cycle, did you learn a thing? will you try again?

because if the answer to those questions is yes, every mistake or misstep or repeated cycle was still worth it. there is still hope. all we can do is keep trying. again and again and again.
